49ers Are Worried About Mccaffrey's Injury Against The Commanders

The San Francisco 49ers need Christian McCaffrey to be healthy if they want to make it to the Super Bowl.

McCaffrey hurt his calf during the 49ers' victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday.

San Francisco secured the top seed in the NFC by winning and the Philadelphia Eagles losing to the Arizona Cardinals with a score of 35-31.

Calf injuries can be difficult to recover from, but 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan was hopeful after the game.

He mentioned that he will have more information about his star running back on Monday.

"We believe he will be okay," Shanahan said. I'm not sure if he can go next week, but we'll learn more tomorrow.

But he was moving okay on the sideline, hoping it's not too bad, but we won't know until tomorrow.

McCaffrey ran the ball 14 times for 64 yards and caught four passes for 27 yards in the game against Washington, who had a record of 4-12.

Without him, Elijah Mitchell took charge and ran the ball 17 times for 80 yards and scored a touchdown.

McCaffrey is the top player in the NFL for all-purpose yards with 2,023 and has scored 21 touchdowns this season.
