1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup buttermilk 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, egg, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
Preheat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat. If using a griddle, aim for 350°F (175°C).
Lightly grease the cooking surface with cooking spray or butter.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges look set, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
