Baked Pork Chops Scented With Garlic Butter

4 bone-in pork chops Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon paprika 2 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 cup chicken broth

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and paprika.

In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Brown the pork chops on both sides for about 3-4 minutes per side until they develop a golden-brown crust.

Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.

Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.

Place the browned pork chops back into the skillet.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
