Easy French Toast Recipe

3 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg 6 slices of bread 2 tablespoons butter


Put the eggs in a small bowl and lightly beat them.

Mix the milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg with a whisk until everything is well mixed.

On medium heat, warm up a big pan. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter by adding it.

Wet both sides of the bread slices by dipping them into the egg mix.

Put it in the hot pan and cook each side for two to three minutes, until it turns golden brown.

Add maple syrup, fresh fruit, or powdered sugar on top of the warm French toast before serving.

Dip and cook the rest of the slices again, adding the last tablespoon of butter as needed.
