Crack the eggs (or use egg whites) into a bowl. Add milk, vanilla extract (if using), and protein powder. Mix them all together well.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides get wet. Let the bread soak for a few seconds.
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle on medium heat and put some cooking spray or a bit of butter on it.
Put the soaked bread slices on the pan and cook each side for about 2-3 minutes until they turn golden brown.
Once both sides are cooked and the bread looks golden, take it off the pan.
