My Favorite Banana Bread Recipe
2 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup) 1/3 cup melted butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt
Set the oven temperature to 350°F. Prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan by greasing it.
Combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a large
bowl until thoroughly mixed.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Transfer the batter into the loaf pan that has been prepared and bake it for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick
inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
