Spicy Lamb Meatballs Recipe

Off-white Section Separator

1 lb ground lamb 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 egg, beaten 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, cumin, coriander, cayenne, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Instructions

Form the mixture into golf ball sized meatballs, about 1-2 tablespoons each. You should get 16-20 meatballs.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Working in batches if needed, add the meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes total.

Transfer the browned meatballs to a plate. Repeat with remaining meatballs.

Add the marinara sauce to the same skillet. Bring to a simmer.

Add the meatballs back to the skillet and turn to coat in the sauce. Cook for 5-10 minutes until cooked through.

Serve meatballs with sauce spooned over the top.
